Today you are going to write some sentences in Japanese. We tend to write a Japanese sentence in the following order:

4. what
5. action (verbs)

今日、学校で日本語を勉強した。

1. when →今日きょう、today
2. (who)→（私わたしは）I
3. where→学校がっこうで at school
4. what→日本語にほんごを Japanese
5. action (verbs)→勉強べんきょうした。studied/learned

今日、学校で友達と話した。

1. when→今日きょう、today
2. (who)→（私わたしは）I
3. where→学校がっこうで at school
4. with whom→友達ともだちと with my friends
5. action (verbs)→話はなした。spoke

今日、家で働いた。

1. 1. when→今日きょう、today

今日、カフェで友達と会った。

1. when→今日、today
